The idea

Togfrog is a website for visualization of extraordinary travel experiences and information about thrilling activities all over the world. At Togfrog you can watch and share videos of common people experiencing the extreme. At Togfrog you will be able to preview great activities all around the world. Whether you are in to driving a 50-ton tank, jumping a 250-meter bungee jump or shooting a Russian made RPG you can watch a video of this before spending money on travelling to the location. This ensures that your trip is not made in vain and you also get the opportunity to be exposed to activities you otherwise would not know existed. This is done by providing the video with a specific location on a map, making it possible for users to browse countries and regions for extraordinary activities. This service provides the user with a better basis for deciding where to go on their journey.

We differentiate our concept by having focus on relevant content and define high quality content as something our users can use and like - not just entertaining in HQ videos. This combined with a geographical knowledge on where our activities are located. We would like to provide our users with the opportunity to learn about experiences they might not have stumbled upon otherwise - something new and fun the next time they are out traveling the world.

Togfrog will enable travelers around the world to upload their videos of their own special and unique travel experience sharing it to other interested travelers. The Togfrog user will pin point the activity on a dynamic map for the convenience of other users who consider travelling the region. The information added to the activities consists of the most relevant information for any potential traveler. Extraordinary experiences for ordinary people created by ordinary people.

The people

We are a Danish start-up that has emerged as the end result of our education as engineers and our personal interest in traveling and trying out fun stuff. We are three guys responsible for the idea, the development and the maintenance of this site. The company is currently located in the central Denmark at an incubator environment in the city, Herning. Our internal way of working is based on the thesis on it has to be fun, relevant and beneficial. We aim to be as creative and "new-thinking" as possible and we are very receptive to any ideas and constructive criticism from our users and other implicated people.
