This is one of the most popular activities which took its beginning in the 70’s. Recently its popularity has increased, and many people have tried this thrilling activity. There are basically two different kind of shark diving: Café diving with the great white and regular scuba diving with less dangerous sharks.

When diving with the great whites you will sail on a boat with the local guides out to open water and they will lure the hungry sharks close to the boat with bait. When the sharks approach the boat the diver is lowered into the water inside a steel cage to make sure he/she is kept safe. You will get close to this magnificent animal and feel the ferocity of a shark attack. The other kind of diving is more like traditional diving where you go diving in groups in the open water (no cage) and the sharks swim close to the divers.
